Exeedme review: 1 Month after the BETA launch.

It has now been a month that Exeedme launched its platform in private beta. I was able to play in it and I’ll explain you how it was and what to expect for the future.

Pic 1: Dashboard

What’s available on the platform ?

There’s three modes currently available all playable on CS:GO, 1v1, 2v2 and 5v5. 1v1 was not directly available at the launch but was added by team along the way. It is playable on AIM_MAP, AWP_INDIA, and AIM_REDLINE.

To continue, 2v2 and 5v5 are respectively the normal Wingman and Competitive modes. Matchmaking is not available yet and still in development. Each lobby is a custom one, to enter a lobby you must’ve been invited or you can join if you received the link. Fortunately, each player is invited to join the discord server where they can find a channel where players are sharing lobbies. However, it would be a plus if a section was directly available on the platform to see open public custom lobbies. So when you create a lobby you could choose either private:
- join with invitations or link
or public:
- you can find the lobby in the section.

Let’s examine the platform display.

Pic 2: Left part

On the left part of the screen we can find the menu with every section: “Dashboard, Assets, Leaderboard, Lobby, History, Tournaments, Marketplace, Support, and Staking”. On the bottom we can see a chat button to contact the support in live if they are online. Once you click on it a small window will appear on the bottom left (see picture below).

You also have the possibilty to continue the chat by mail, which is nice.

Pic 4: top right

On top of the screen is stated your available funds in EXE and XED, a lookup bar to search players, a notification button with a pop-up notification center when you click on it, and finally your profile also clickable.

Pic 5: right part

Finally, the right side is divided in 3 parts: First your current active lobbies, then your teams or the possibility to create a team and below your friends and a button to join the discord server. In both the friends and teams section you can find on the right a chat button that will open pop-up chats (see picture below).

Assets:

Here we can find our assets, and the option to deposit and withdraw them. You can deposit BTC,ETH,UDST,XED via your wallet or you have the option to buy them instantly with Utrust. What you deposit will automatically be converted to EXEs (the platform stable currency). My advise would be to deposit USDT via the TRC20 chain because it has less blockchain fees or via Utrust.

Leaderboard:

Pic 8: Leaderboard

The current BETA includes a leaderboard, where the first ten players will be awarded by an NFT at the end of it. We can imagine that it could be replaced by a public leaderboard when the platform goes public.

Lobby History:

Pic 9: Lobby History
Pic 10: Lobby overview

This is an intresting section, in the lobby history you can find every match you played with the result, the EXEs won or lost, the teams, the score and the date of the match. This also where you can download a replay of your match. Each match is clickable and will redirect you to the lobby page where you can see your stats.

Pic 11: Video Referee

On the main page of the lobby, we have on overview of the match with the players and the score. If we suspect a player to cheat we can ask for a video-referee review (see Pic 11). At the moment I write this, a video referee review costs 500EXEs if you do it within the 30 minutes after the match ends. And 2000EXEs after these 30 minutes. If the player was indeed cheating the bets are reverted and you get back your EXEs spent for the referee.

Pic 12: Stats

In stats you can explore in details the statistics of the each player in the match, including the kills, the assists, deaths, ADR, HS% and even the number of 2, 3, 4 or 5 kills. Click on a player will redirect you to the profile page of the player. Talking about that, let’s see how it’s made.

Profile page:

Pic 13: Profile page

The first window of the profile page is an overview of your stats with the number of matches played, the win rate, the kill/death ratio, headshot percentage, number of clutches and aces. On the right we can add our social media and a description.
Below that we see the stats of each game mode.
The next windows are the list of our Friends, Teams, and Orders made in the marketplace.

Marketplace:

Pic 14: Marketplace

With your EXEs you can buy things on Exeedme marketplace, the only thing currently available is an Exeedme Tracksuit but we can imagine that in the future there will be more stuff, as skins for example.

Tournaments:

Pic 15: Tournaments

The last section of the menu is Tournaments, on this page there’s the previous and upcoming tournaments.

Starting a match:

When a lobby is full and the lobby creator starts the match, the phase of pick and ban will start. We first choose which server we are playing on so each team ban turn by turn a server location.

The next step is the map pick&ban, it works in the same way as the server pick&ban. After the location and the map chosen, we receive an IP to join on CS:GO.

What to expect in the future:

First of all, we know that the game that won the previous community poll was League of Legends. So we could see it as the next game on Exeedme.
Secondly the next thing coming is the staking of XED on the platform, it should be available until the end of this quarter.
When the platform goes public, the matchmaking should be on.
Besides that, we can take a look at the roadmap:

In Q2, the staking as mentionned before, the tournaments, the Game mining so being rewarded in Exeedme for playing, and the Anti-cheat.
In Q3, the NFT rewards on the platform.
In Q4 a big change: the migration of XED to Polkadot Blockchain.
And more news to come!

An amazing news, this evening starts the Fox League, where you can play in matchmaking and win matches to get in the leaderboard and win some awesome prize!

Conclusion:

To conclude, I did not encounter any big problems while playing this BETA, the small bugs that I encountered, for example: once a problem with the IP and some bugs loading the page were handled by the team really fast so no bad points for that!
But if you unluckily encounter anything just post a message on the Discord or if you have no problems but you want to suggest some modifications you can also send a message on Discord.

Finally, Exeedme is a great platform, the team is constantly listening to the feedback of the community. If you still want to get a chance to participate in this private beta you should stick around on “game nights” organised a few times a week on Discord.
